Terms of Use

Welcome to Rare Human. These terms are the agreement between you and UIE Ltd ("Rare Human", "we", "us") when you use rarehuman.ai and its subdomains (the "Site"). Please read them. By using the Site or joining the waitlist, you accept them.

At this stage the Site is a public philosophy site with a waitlist. There are no paid products, member accounts, or agent tools yet. When those launch, we will publish additional terms (for membership and for purchases) and tell you before they apply to you.

1. Who may use the Site

You may use the Site if you are 18 or older and can form a binding contract. If you use it for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

2. The waitlist

Joining the waitlist means you ask us to email you about Rare Human. It is free, creates no membership, and promises no product, price, timing, or place. You can leave at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing us. How we handle your email is governed by the Privacy Policy.

3. What Rare Human is — and is not

Rare Human is a philosophy and an operating standard for human capability. Its written material is offered for reflection and practice. It is not professional advice — not medical, psychological, financial, legal, or safety advice — and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. See the Disclaimers, which form part of these terms.

4. Acceptable use

Use the Site lawfully and in good faith. You agree not to:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone's rights;
  • attempt to breach security, probe, scrape at abusive volume, overload, or disrupt the Site or its infrastructure;
  • submit false, spam, or someone else's data to the waitlist;
  • misrepresent your identity or your authority to act for someone else;
  • copy, resell, or systematically extract our content except as allowed in §5.

5. Intellectual property

Our content. The Rare Human doctrine, text, brand, names, wordmark, logo, and design are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. "Rare Human", "WorldAuth", and "WorldAEO" are our trademarks. You may read, quote briefly with attribution, and share links. You may not reproduce the material wholesale, present it as your own, or use our marks without permission.

Your submissions. If you send us feedback or ideas, you grant us a free, worldwide licence to use them to improve Rare Human, with no obligation to you.

6. Automated access and AI agents

We welcome legitimate machine access — search indexers, answer engines, and AI agents acting for a person. To use the Site by automated means you must:

  • identify yourself honestly (a truthful user agent; do not impersonate a human or another agent);
  • respect robots.txt, our published rate limits, and our machine-readable policy surface at /.well-known/;
  • take only actions you are authorised to take on behalf of a real principal, and be able to evidence that authority where the platform requires it;
  • not use the Site or its content to train models except as expressly permitted in our machine-readable terms.

Authority and responsibility. An agent acting for you binds you, and the person or organisation that deploys an agent is responsible for everything it does here — including the lawfulness of any data it collects through us. An agent cannot create authority by clicking; where authority is required, it must be presented as a verifiable mandate. Nothing an unauthorised agent does creates a contract with us.

7. No warranty

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties (including merchantability, fitness for a purpose, and non-infringement) and do not promise the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the content is complete or suitable for your circumstances.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to the minimum the law permits.

9. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party sites and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

10. Changes and availability

We may update the Site and these terms. If we make a material change, we will update the "effective" date and, for significant changes affecting waitlist members, tell you. We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of the Site at any time.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the laws of England and Wales, with the courts of England and Wales having exclusive jurisdiction, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, unless mandatory consumer-protection law where you live gives you other rights (which we do not take away).
