The Standard
A higher operating standard.
Observe. Understand. Optimise. Apply. Prove. The philosophy through which RareHuman represents and operates around exceptional people.
Five movements
What it means in practice
One identity. A single machine-readable record of who you are, what you can do and what you permit — the same to a person and to an authorised agent.
Permission first. Nothing about you is discoverable without your say. Every request reaches you through Concierge and with approval.
Evidence over claims. Capability on RareHuman is attached to work, references and verification, and is reviewed periodically.
RareHuman is not a marketplace, a job board, a course or a club. Nobody bids. Nobody is ranked. Nobody has to post to remain visible.
How verification works
Before anyone is listed, three things are verified: identity (the person is who they say they are), authority (they hold the position and can act in the way they claim), and record (the work they cite happened, with the outcome stated). Verification produces a result, not a score.
A verified identity is agent-ready: the same identity is read by people and by authorised machine systems. The person does not change for the machine. RareHuman translates the person.
Discoverability is permission controlled. Each person decides whether they can be found by humans, by authorised agents, by the public web — or by none of them — and can change that at any time. Every request that reaches a person is an authorised request, routed through Concierge.
Fees are stated before any engagement begins. RareHuman never holds client funds.
The questions
RareHuman does not define one ideal human. A surgeon, engineer, broker, artist, sailor, tailor, founder, athlete or teacher may meet the Standard differently. Prestige, wealth and follower count are not substitutes for substance. The Standard asks:
- What have you genuinely become able to do?
- What have you actually done?
- What has experience taught you that information alone could not?
- Where does your judgement carry weight?
- What can others trust you to do?
- What are you building now?
- Where can your contribution create real opportunity?
Access can be purchased. Recognition cannot. Payment buys infrastructure and service. Recognition by RareHuman is earned through evidence, work, conduct and real contribution — and is never for sale.
